#WFH: Who Are You Blaming?

In The Pajama Effect you have more control over your world than ever before. Take advantage of the freedom this atmosphere provides for you, but be aware. The responsibility for your behaviors and your decisions is in your corner. As long as you understand yourself, you will be a highly successful virtual worker. When you take responsibility and stay focused on your priorities you can create a virtual environment that is productive, connected and in your control.

So, stop blaming others and a make a decision right now to be responsible for your choices. Look inside yourself and make decisions that are right for you. Remember the power of the word “no”. It is clear and direct and to the point. If you want to eliminate things that are unwanted from your life, start saying “no” and forget about feeling guilty. Make a decision to stay focused on what you want. Indecision is the decision not to decide. When you think independently and act with autonomy you have more freedom, and with more freedom comes more responsibility. In the virtual environment, you cannot abdicate the responsibility to others and expect it to get done. You want to state your expectations – of yourself, your family and your coworkers. The clearer you are about these expectations the happier and more productive you will be. Your expectations are easier to meet if they are clearly expressed.
