#AI@Work: AI Costs and Ciaos

“Artificial intelligence will reach human levels by around 2029. Follow that out further to, say, 2045, we will have multiplied the intelligence, the human biological machine intelligence of our civilization a billion-fold.”
—Ray Kurzweil

AI will be at the center of global communities. It will generate ideas that are life altering. Using AI with crowd-sourcing information and aggregating it into thoughts and sharing it with the community can stimulate additional innovation. This puts us on a scale well outside of what we envision for just AI use in business. These communities will more than likely exhibit cross thinking. Global communities will share information and interact with AI on a scale that reates new thinking and ideas beyond what humankind has known. Newer thinking will be borne out of the AI process. Broader problem solving will become natural through cross-pollination. AI will be at the center of this, making us perhaps better humans. It may influence us to be more holistic. It may help us to solve global problems. AI may provide a stronger approach to the longevity of the entire human race.

The impact of AI in the workplace has enormous implications. AI is one of the most impactful technological advancements ever. It is far from being completely felt in our lives. If AI is not monitored and measured in terms of the costs to humans in the workforce, AI may well cause more chaos then advancement.
